A Saturday meeting with my student Arielle started with a train trip from Tarrytown, a view of double tugs, and some Lower East Side Street life. As for what we saw on Orchard Street: Toto, I don't think we're in the bargain district any more.

Ending a month

"Become your dream" is a good slogan for any time. I was going to say it's a good way to start a month but, 1. it's the end of the month and 2. the slogan works for any time. Of course, I wonder what's the story of the owner of the furniture that's being tossed out. What was the dream? And the fish?

Unwittingly Retro

I just loved the chair/desks in this City College Classroom—and after doing a stint as a guest speaker, had to take a shot once the students had vacated their seats.
