Tuscan Tarrytown

This view, from a home on Tarrytown's garden tour, is a far more spectacular view than the view of the woods from out humble bungalow. I'd be small-minded and jealous, but the grounds and expense are so out of reach that I'm merely amazed and agog (and besides, our bungalow is lovely and comfy, if not the same kind of knock-out). There's a lot of gorgeosity in this wee village.

SaturdayStroll_LOE

A Saturday meeting with my student Arielle started with a train trip from Tarrytown, a view of double tugs, and some Lower East Side Street life. As for what we saw on Orchard Street: Toto, I don't think we're in the bargain district any more.

Ending a month

"Become your dream" is a good slogan for any time. I was going to say it's a good way to start a month but, 1. it's the end of the month and 2. the slogan works for any time. Of course, I wonder what's the story of the owner of the furniture that's being tossed out. What was the dream? And the fish?
